El mejor Hospital
My first and last visit to the UVA ER. We arrived and were confused by all the desks and which ones to go to. After being carted from pre-registration, to check in, to triage, to labs, back to lobby (which all took over an hour). Ive been left sitting in the lobby chairs for hours along with several others who came in around the same time as me. I've been rushed when explaining what's wrong and only asked a question or two. There were people in pain throwing themselves in the floor bc they can't stand to sit in these chairs ... read more
During my ER Visit, Dana Ismail PA-C was amazing. She really took her time to listen, carefully evaluate my symptoms, and find the root of the problem instead of rushing through. She explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed the whole time. Her professionalism, kindness, and thorough care turned a stressful situation into a positive experience.
