Honestly I think people need to understand UVA Emergency Department in the recent months has become of the worst emergency rooms in the nation. A disgrace to healthcare and hospitality everywhere. Me and my fiancé got here around 2:30 pm because we had originally scheduled a a sick appointment with his doctor but the scheduling team got the wrong date and made it for two weeks out. I cannot say enough good things about UVA ‘s ER. I will admit I was skeptical after reading the reviews but, I was terribly wrong. They listen, not one person made me feel like I was crazy or being dramatic over what was going on. They ran all the appropriate test and labs and they even have on the wall in the rooms, how long those test take to result. Waiting means .. being thorough and waiting for results. I’ll take that. Don't go here. It has downhill over the years. The staff really don't care about the patients.
