I've been wanting to go visit this place since I was a little boy and would pass by on our way to Mexico, now finally at 49 I was able to fulfill that want and needless to say it didn't disappoint! Got to be a part of the star gazing, learned so many cool things like what we thought was the Big Dipper was definitely not it lol. We finally was able to attend a star party, after 3 failed attempts. We appreciate every presenter. They were friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable on their subject. We especially enjoyed the gentlemen at the Jupiter & High Moon stations. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to see the stars up close!
Very interesting. Including the drive to the observatory. Over 5,000k ft up the mountains. Pretty cool stuff
