I had an MRI appointment on the 1st floor at 2:25. The staff were rude. When I went to the back, the staff asked me about my medical condition from the paper. And I answered it because I didn't give the exact answer he wanted, he said, “I guess we're gonna have to just figure it out for you,” with a dismissive attitude and exaggerated eyes. It made me feel very uncomfortable, so I rescheduled my appointment.When the all the information in my my chart the comment was uncalled for and not necessary.
The doctors and nurses were nice, but I ended up switching back to Hurley due to it being closer and way cheaper. It can be confusing finding the way to the OB (probably user error from being nervous.) The lighting seemed very dim and yellow to me, but I prefer the bright white lights so that's strictly a preference issue.
Family member came in for a colonoscopy. Dr had to quit the procedure due to the anesthesia not working well enough. In recovery he explained she could come back tomorrow but at the Brighton location so she wouldn't have to do the prep all over again and they will take care of the insurance part. Day 2 goes fine. BCBS denies the claim for the first day because insurance only covers one colonoscopy a year.
