Horrible hospital to work for as a traveler!! I never met my manager. Received poor information on protocols and hospital policy! I was hired to work on the observation unit and was floated multiple times to their step down. Hired for an observation unit with “a chance to float”. I was floated more times than I was on my unit! Also hospital is not inclusive or diverse at all. Would highly recommend not working here as a traveler or person of color!!!
We just had our baby here, and the experience was wonderful. Amazing and attentive nurses, doctors, and staff. Made us feel like people, instead of a number, and really made sure we were comfortable and confident and well taken care of.
I have to call in Monthly to get my Son a prescription who has a disability. I call the Pharmacy /s first to see who has the medication and then quick call the office to get the prescription sent over before the Phcy runs out of it. The prescription is for the generic Vyvance. A very hard medication to find. Called this morning after I talked to the Phcy and then called U of M Health.
