Every part of this "university" is bad Not worth the time, risk, or money
UMGC IS THE BIGGEST SCAM I CAN’T STRESS THIS ENOUGH! This school miscommunicated with me so many times in regards to returning equipment to the point where they sent me to collections for double the value of the equipment. After I left a review on one of their other locations that’s when they wanted to hurry and get in touch with me. They told me once their equipment was received they would issue me a letter for me to give to collections and they would also have their finance department $0 out the collections account. I don’t understand how this university has so many poor reviews. My experience here has been stellar. They assigned me a success coach who checks in just to see how I’m doing with my classes. At the end of the semester, I received both a call and an email to sign up for the next semesters classes. I was given a run down of my student aid and how many classes would be covered. This school allows adults with busy schedules to still get an education and for that I am grateful. My professors have been absolutely amazing as well.... read more
I came back to UMGC to complete another degree with them and it has been a NIGHTMARE, from financial aid to registration. After successfully completing several degrees at many schools, they have ruined my academic record! All because the “success coach” Nakeem failed to do what they promised via text message. I guess the joke is on me for trying to get another degree after my Juris Doctor. The original UMUC was fine, but this new place is an absolute joke.
