We were referred there after my son was seen at a local, small town urgent care. When I pulled it up on Google, I was a little hesitant after seeing the low reviews. We were greeted with kindness from security, the receptionist, triage, nursing team and doctors. I did see patients speaking horribly and disrespectful towards team members, and they were still treated with the same professionalism that was given to us. Extremely disappointed in the ER operation and care that I watched my daughter receive on March 4th after her neurology appt. The neurologist suggested we go to the ER and have the neurology dept see her because she was in a lot of pain. The doctor would personally call ahead and let them know what was going on. My daughter had a total of three doctors, 2 interns and one doctor's supervisor look at her, tell her to squeeze their fingers, push up against their hand as they push down and walk away! Hey, you got the most pathetic people if you had white people checking you in they wouldn’t be obnoxious and yelling loud even with my headphones on they are cracking up having a party. If you’re paying them as much as the white people are that’s why I’m moving to Lexington because it’s nothing but gutter. I thought u of l was one of the best hospitals in the country , boy was I wrong. These people are over worked, understaffed , and flat out don’t care about patients. The 2 days I was there I could hear the nurses being rude to patients, talking crap about other hospitals and playing on Facebook whenever I went to the rest room. I’d like the hospital administrator to reach out to me but I doubt that will happen. These people don’t care about you like I said under staffed , over worked and flat out don’t care.
Worst hospital ever. My roommate literally sold drugs from my room. The Drs and nurses barely answered any questions. They spent more time trying to push us out the door.
