Such a wonderful experience. My RN, two Doctors, Sane nurse, DV advocate, and the two year 4 students that stitched me up were amazing. Can’t recommend my experience enough.

My girlfriend and I were visiting family in Louisville and the day before we were scheduled to fly home my lower back locked up. I was in so much pain I could not move or walk. I was taken to the UofL ER at 5:45am on 7/21/25 and greated by 2 friendly nurses who collected my info and took my vitals. Less than 5 minutes later I was in a bed explaining what happened. I went in bc I had some bleeding while 8 weeks pregnant. They got me into triage right away, then did an ultrasound almost immediately when I got into the bay. Everything was very efficient, good communication, and everyonewas very nice. Overall great experience.
Worst experience in anyone's life. My son has 3rd degree burns. The burn center is closed but they are sending people to a closed facility is ridiculous. Now my son's burns are open, raw awful due to not getting the proper care at all.
