Keep looking for another place to go. These people are absolutely ignorant. They can’t even do scheduling right let alone do surgery or anything else. It will be pure. Hell if you go here you need to find someplace better.
My experiences with the doctors there have been good up until this past Thursday. With a history of high risk pregnancies, I brought up concerns that have been bothering me. She was quick to dismiss or minimize my concerns in an attempt to rush me out of the door. Tons of money goes into a birth plan so taking the time to listen to the patient thoroughly is ideal. Wish I could leave a positive review because the doctors and nurses do a decent job making you feel cared for but they do not give a crap about their patients. I make it very clear to my doctors and nurses at every visit what my financial concerns are. I’ve called and received estimates, reviewed my insurance, and spoken to my team to make sure I had an understanding of what I would owe. My girlfriend has had chronic migraines since 16 and they told her to lose weight, be less anxious or try alternative medicine. Like piercing her ears or useless chiropractors for years before insurance would cover anything. On the other hand, I think I had a good experience but I also had severe head trauma and don't remember anything.
If you're black, pregnant or not and you're a trauma patient this isn't the place for you. I have deal with a few OB doctor that have looked at me in a bad way and has attitude. Also i explained to them that I wasn't ready to see them after dealing with so much stress in the ER that i needed to take a break from around the hospital.
