As UIHC gets larger and as its competitors disappear, its quality of customer service gets worse and worse. I deal with the General Hospital Pharmacy on a regular basis and a decent number of the people I speak with are slow, unhelpful, and sometimes even rude. My medication copay is going up 1000%? Ah, who needs to be empathetic — not them! You sent my dad, a Vietnam veteran, away on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. He was turned away from the V.A. that same morning because they were full. U of I rushed my parents out the door without identifying the problem. An EKG and a blood panel was run, and that was it. My mom asked you how she would get my dad back in the house in the sub-zero temps because he was too weak to stand. You told my mom to take my dad home and call 911 again to get him in the house. Rescheduled my sons appointment 10 mins away from the hospital after we drove a hr and half
Easy in. Easy out. Valet parking was $15. Great in cold weather. They have a specialist for just about everything. Not absolutely sure about some decisions made though.
