All the other reviews are very validating. UC Health billing practices are predatory and lack transparency. I am questioning the legality. When you raise a concern they will pass you around, ignore you, refuse to fix it, and just send you to collections. I switched to Advent Health and have had zero issues since. I will delete this review when contacted. Update: the contact they will give you below is for CU Medicine billing, not UC Health billing. It is ridiculous how difficult this company makes it to resolve an issue.
I can’t get ahold of anyone to ask about an unexpected bill. There is no way to get a human on the line. What a terrible service.

Stacee at CU Medicine customer service and billing was absolutely phenomenal. She was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. This is the first time in over six months that we actually got our questions clearly answered, and it made such a difference. Stacee truly went above and beyond, and her professionalism and compassion did not go unnoticed. Thank you for such outstanding service!
UPDATE 12/08/2025: I recently discovered that Colorado law (see HB23-1215 at leg.colorado.gov) "prohibits a health care provider ... which is a corporation or organization that owns, contains, or operates 3 or more hospitals [e.g., UCHealth], from charging, billing, or collecting a facility fee directly from a patient that is not covered by the patient's insurance for mandatory coverage for preventative health-care services that are provided in an outpatient setting."
