Currently in a dispute similar to others here. I am evidently in collections for not paying a bill. A bill that even CU Medicine will admit was sent to our old address.....as in, we haven't lived there in over 13 years. My daughter's appointment was with Children's and the providers were evidently from CU Med, even though we had no idea this was the case upon booking. Their systems and processes are awful. Our son saw doctors and had PT at Children’s Hospital in Highlands Ranch. We paid the facility for all services there but apparently doctors that work there billed separately. We never received the invoices and they just sent the account to collections as others have noted. We do not have an issue paying this, but what about others that do? Having been sending bills for my daughter to my childhood home address and then trying to send me to collections when I don’t pay the bill that I never received. Looking up any address to bill when it was never even given to them to begin with. Called and they said that the address was updated and still doing the same thing. Poor practice to send protected health information to random addresses. Update: CU medicine billing is useless. All the other reviews are very validating. UC Health billing practices are predatory and lack transparency. I am questioning the legality. When you raise a concern they will pass you around, ignore you, refuse to fix it, and just send you to collections. I switched to Advent Health and have had zero issues since. I will delete this review when contacted. Update: the contact they will give you below is for CU Medicine billing, not UC Health billing. It is ridiculous how difficult this company makes it to resolve an issue.
