They kicked me and my boyfriend out today bc he didn’t have heeled shoes. anyone who lifts knows there is a preference to lifting without shoes for a more efficient mind body connection. SO many people choose to do that. Great gym, but the workers give off vibes like they don’t want to be there or help anyone
MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN EQUIPMENT, pretty sure the student workers have not deep cleaned. Not sure if anyone does, super gross. You’ll see dried sweat on treadmills each visit and watch students/locals hop machines without spray. Could use more fans on the cardio floor and weight area, it gets so stuffy there in the morning with the sun coming in. Highest summer temp inside was 76°. Sometimes it’ll be hard to be productive because of sports or military training and overall too many bodies hogging one machine as a group.
