By far the worst place to go in Lubbock.
Where is a 0. All these poor people sick and no one with urgency. Saw a man fall out of a wheel chair that was there for hours, crack his head open and these nurse said let me put a bandaid on it. He was literally dripping blood from his head. If you are dying might want to find a different ER. Staff is more worried about ther ego than saving life's. After hitting my head at the lake that caused a gash on top my head about 5” in length we check into the ER at about 7pm on a Sunday. Waited for 15 hours before ever being treated. The waiting area was so full my wife and I waited outside of the lobby. During these 15 hours I don’t think I saw anyone get admitted to the hospital.
My mother went to this ER with kidney pain and very ill. She decided to finally check out after waiting 16 HOURS to be called back. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS to have to wait that long to see a doctor. Who is running this ER???
People, with all the illegals that were here the ER Was packed every day. Things are looking better. I know as a patient you want things done now. But they check you when you come in. If some has a gun shot in the chest in back your little chest cold will have to wait. The people working up front have to do this everyday. Because they care about people. Give them a break.
