Worst ER ever. They don't even have a doctor on round. I waited literally 12 hours to be seen by a doctor. Ridiculous. Nobody has no idea what they are doing.
Came into urgent care with my mother at around 2:30pm. We had concerns about a possible issue with a tube placed in her kidney weeks prior, as well as concerns of a upper respiratory infection. The doctor at urgent care agreed the best option was to head to the ER. We made it over there at 2:50pm. My mom gets blood drawn, a CT, a chest x-ray, and a UA. All of this was done by 4pm. I would give zero stars if I could.. been here in the waiting room for over 12 hrs and a ton of sick people are forced to leave because they can't wait that long. What a joke for health care. Worst place I've ever been to in my life
To start off the emergency room was packed! From homeless people to anybody that needed to be seen. Literally everyone had a thin blanket when we walked in and some even had their hand or head wrapped with gauze and just sitting in the waiting area. I went to be seen on a Saturday night around midnight I would say. They triaged me pretty quickly and the dr came in quickly. BUT this Dr that worked the night of 6/20 was HORRIBLE. I brought my wife 2 hour trip to Umc under the advice of her obgyn. My wife is 9 weeks pregnant and bleeding badly. Her vitals were taken and we were left in the waiting room. As I type this we have been waiting for 8 hours and counting. I keep asking and keep getting told they are full we will just have to wait till something opens up. A nurse explained to us that unless a pregnancy is more than 20 weeks it not considered to be an emergency if bleeding starts and you could be experiencing a miscarriage per Umc policy.
