Back in 2016 Dr. Biscette performed laparoscopic surgery to remove uterine fibroids that had been embolized in a previous uterine artery emoblization. Took the time to answer all my questions and concerns everytime I saw her even on surgery day.

Spent 7 hours on my surgery, did not remove all of the fibriods. Had to control heavy bleeding with depo provera, suffered severe leg damage after this and the surgery, multiple other fibroids grew, suffered severe complications and more surgeries as a result and now disabled.. And I only had two small fibriods before I met her.

Please do not have an extensive laparoscopic surgery for uterine fibriods. They can't see all the fibroids and won't be able to get them all out and they will end up giving you dangerous Depo Provera. Then you may become disabled and have life threatening complications from the anemia and ongoing bleeding including a damaged immune system. If you have any complications, the notes in your medical record will be changed to say they warned you when they didn't.
