Absolutely Unacceptable Experience at University Hospitals Emergency Room I truly cannot believe the level of neglect, disorganization, and overall indifference I experienced at University Hospitals Emergency Room. I came here for what should have been relatively straightforward — a CT scan and some blood work. They are absolutely awful. They treat people like prisoners. They literally confine you to a bed in a jail cell like room. Shameful.
We had a good experience at this ER. Mom passed that night through no fault of theirs at all. She received the utmost care and consideration. We were treated with respect and compassion. The doctors and nurses were wonderful. Special shout out to Kenya.
Awful place. The ED manager is unprofessional. Getting her hair braided at the nurses station. Then came to talk to us about a complaint, with her fresh new do, and couldn’t be bothered to listen to my complaint about my mothers care. Laughed in our faces and walked out. Update: was here again with a parent a few weeks ago. Again, the managers were getting their hair done, wearing t-shirts and hoodies…. Looked so unprofessional. Absolute worst ER! Been sitting here for almost 4 hours with others that have been here longer and the only ones going back are the ones that just walked in that are in no distress. The employee saying we're lucky to spend 5-10 hrs waiting to be seen are lucky is clearly one of the ones in the back playing on the phone. When there's a woman left bleeding in the waiting room for hours, who came in via ambulance, is not being seen and then has to leave just to get care to even get your attention that is a very crystal clear si... read more
