(I would like to note that I haven’t been here since maybe around last year of the summer time.) my mom drove me up here and we walked in. I get tested. No issue. Then they make you wait. Sitting in uncomfortable chairs. There was this one guy who was around his 50’s talking to me inappropriately. And what did the nurses do? Absolutely nothing. I was 13 at the time when it happened. I am still speechless with how the psychiatric department handled my case in the ER. Reading back on my chart/notes the doctors are highly unprofessional and don't have a single clue what they're doing. The volunteers can help you out more. Sent me home twice knowing I was going home to my abuser and I was suicidal. Pray for a miracle for this facility. In my opinion I would never go back or recommend anyone get care at U of M.
Absolute worst hospital I’ve ever been too. And I’ve been to a lot. Donald Trump should revoke all their funding.
Been twice, both times they ignored my issues and attempts. They had self proclaimed policies that they ignored, including releasing me within 24 hours of a destructive incident. The waiting room is torturous, waiting 12 hours to be admitted early in the morning both times. You can't sleep in there as the lights are always on, and they make you feel not at all at home.
