Worst place in the world and third world country has better healthcare system. Went there because of my kid after 3 hours wait time they said i need to wait 2 more hours. Are you serious? They checked only 2 patients in 3 hours and kept telling we are very busy. Took my child home without seeing doctor. Third class place.
I attended Geelong Hospital’s Adult ED last Friday 26/6. I cannot speak highly enough of the care. Staff were dealing with a challenging behavioural issue from a client as I arrived. Mental Health staff, security and all involved addressed this with great respect & aplomb. My own care was of an equally high standard with decisions being based on best information, which was explained by RMO Luke, at each point. Thanks so much to the great team: you each treated me very kindly
I had to get my Vitals checked AFTER being in the waiting room becuase i thought i had died and gone to hell.
My son had a bike accident on Sunday and the care from everyone at the Children's Emergency team was amazing. Alex and all of the nurses across the 9 hours that we were there, were all very attentive, kind, informative and helpful. My son felt well cared for and so did I. It was reassuring to have such kind women assisting during the emergency treatment. The separate children's emergency is fantastic and has a calmer energy. I was absolutely dying of the most horrific stomach pains I’ve ever had in my 26 years on this earth on very very early Sunday morning, and what can I say about the nurses and doctors? The level of care, monitoring and pain relief I received was next level. Absolutely top notch genuine care for their patients! They absolutely went above and beyond for me, thank you triage nurses, ward nurses and doctors and all the ER Barwon health team. ❤️
