My family and I had an extremely disappointing and, at times, frightening experience at this hospital. My grandmother needed emergency surgery. She was left waiting in a hallway because there was supposedly nowhere to put her. It took far too long to get the necessary imaging and assessments. We expected urgency. We did not see it. First the hospital has a lot of homeless patients and unfortunately they are not being treated like human. I felt so bad for one old man, he was in wheelchair and the tech would not push him. The old man was having a hard time and he did not get the care he deserved. The staff treats them way different. If not for our Doctor I would not be here. The place is decent but feels dirty. Nurses are not nice here. The long wait is too much for ER. If you have a choice? Don’t come here.

UMD strands for ' U Must Die' for a reason... doctors to exactly what they are trained to do, but do not care for the individual patient enough to cater to that person's specific needs. I know because I have given birth at this hospital and it was a terrible experience. No proper care, bombarded with the hospital questions well days and confused with drugs, was forced to give birth within 24 hours of coming to that hospital, and they sent me to recover in a room where the toilet had blood stains in and on it.
