Get rid of that cafeteria worker before they cost you all millions because they want to throw food away smh.
Throwing away a child's lunch for the lack of ANY amount of money, much less something as trivial as fifteen cents, is beyond inexcusable. If this is school policy, that is a TERRIBLE policy. And even if the cafeteria worker was new and didn't know proper protocol, they must lack so much compassion that they have no business working with children in the first place.

This school has a cafeteria worker that threw away a students lunch because the Student was 15 cents short and the student was on the free lunch and reduced lunch list which wasn't in effect yet...why??? school has opened and the list should have been available. This worker should be suspended if not fired. How do you not have sympathy for any child that doesn't have money for lunch. She threw away perfectly good food just to spite the Student...as a parent this is totally unacceptable...smh
A child was denied lunch for 15 cents? not 15 dollars but 15cents. Your school along with the cafeteria worker is a disgrace. I'm sure are lunch that day and didn't pay a dime for it. SMDH.

Wow why would the school not just feed the child and send notice to her parents? So starving a child seems more fitting? This cashier should be fired and the school needs to reevaluate their policies when it comes to the wellbeing of the children . Shameful example to display in the presence of children and I can not even imagine the embarrassment all because of 15 cents. Disgusting!
