I have a fear of needles and I know that sounds so pathetic but hey it is what it is mate. I had to get my blood drawn and I was so scared the Nurse was so nice and she let me lay down while she took my blood while I cried. She was really nice, great service
I booked my GP appointment two weeks in advance for 11:00am today. At 9:50am, since I wasn’t feeling well, I called to ask if I could switch to a telehealth appointment. I was told this was not allowed and that I must come in person, even though telehealth had been allowed previously. I rearranged my day and followed their instruction to come in. I live in Western Sydney but I will happily travel to see a doctor here. I always have the best experience. I am really grateful for Dr Crystal for being very kind, patient, thorough and validating - the best doctor for women! Thank you so much.
Dr Andrew Sun is a very patient and charismatic doctor. I went to him for solutions regarding my acne, and he made sure to comprehensively communicate the facts and risks to me. To not go into too much detail, I also had a procedure done by Dr Sun and he performed it in expert manner -- quick and painless. From my two visits, he seemed like a very knowledgeable and practically-skilled doctor. I look forward to seeing him again. P.S. I’m leaving this here because what happened today shouldn’t keep happening to other students. I had a blood test at UNSW Health Service, and the male phlebotomist (mask on, wearing a shirt and tie instead of clinic uniform) was openly rude and humiliating. No one told me this test didn’t require fasting. As an international student with no medical background — and with my first two blood tests in Australia requiring fasting — it was completely reasonable for me to assume I should fast again.
