I was calling the Health Clinic in hopes to get an assessment on some concerns I had, but when double checking just to make sure I was able to make an appointment, the man on the other end of the phone was condescending and rude. He made me feel stupid and embarrassed for not being accustomed with the process of booking online considering I’ve never been to the health clinic. I quite literally cried after the phone call because he went out of his way to be mean.

My wife and I have been going here consistently as students from our Masters degrees to now our PhDs. We have both received quality care and attention to our symptoms or issues hitherto unrivalled at other clinics in the city. I would give a particular shout out to Dr. Patel and Malhotra (though I have heard great things about Dr. Mortera and Jin too) who have always taken our issues seriously and are consistently able to provide answers and a treatment/investigation plan. Whether that be imaging or specialist referral, medi... read more

The white male receptionist at the front desk is extremely rude and condescending. Instead of offering a simple explanation when asked a question, he responded by shouting in front of other patients, creating an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. If that's too much to ask, perhaps it's time to reconsider the role!!!!!

Dr. Patel is the best doctor I have found in Edmonton. I am already suffering that I will lose her when we are no longer at the university. I wish she could have her own practice. She listens to us, cares about what is going on and investigates and treats us until we are better. Again, I haven’t met such an amazing doctor here in Edmonton.

Absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Caitlin Laughlin. I honestly have no idea how this person is even allowed to practice medicine. I came in with a severe cold, feeling awful and expecting at least a basic check-up. To my complete shock, Dr. Laughlin didn’t examine me at all. Not even a stethoscope! No questions, no physical exam — absolutely nothing. She didn’t prescribe any medication or give any advice. The entire visit lasted barely 1.5 minutes. Is that normal? Because for me, that was a first. It felt like she coul... read more
