6/14/25 Mary M. Biglin, MD, Gastroenterology, is a wonderful, thorough physician who goes above and beyond. She's generous with her time and answers all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. The entire gastroenterology department, which handled my procedure on June 10th, 2025, was proficient, on the ball and calm, and nurse Emory in particular. I was initially referred to Dr. Barrett at the end of 2024, And booked an appointment for April. At the end of March, my health got really bad and I called to see if I could see someone sooner. They scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kim, which I gladly accepted, With absolutely no information regarding any cancellation with my appointment with Dr. Barrett. I told them i had diarrhea for 3 weeks and need to see any gastro doctor available, ASAP. Any location. They suggested i go to the emergency room because their soonest appointment was in 6 weeks for any doctor, any Location. I called Northwestern, got me in the next day.
