Apologies for the long post but this place was absolutely awful. I would give ZERO stars, if I could. Staff does not communicate with one another or the patient. Had to drive here twice from 2 hours away. First time, the large machine I was scheduled for (I am highly claustrophobic) was broken and they did not bother to tell me. Second time they refused to give sedation eventhough it had been aporoved by my doctor. Definitely a cya rather than patient concern going on here. There are much better facilities to use. I have had numerous CT and MRI studies done at UDI-Winter Park. The staff are polite and knowledgeable and efficient. I feel as though I am getting quality care. The CT tech, Wendy, is especially compassionate and professional. Reports are generated within 24-48 hours and are available to download on the Mimic portal. I will continue to have my radiological procedures done there.
