Moving to Shreveport from the East Coast was a big transition. The staff and especially the RA’s made my transition a better one. I really enjoyed the programs that were held at the beginning of the semester. I found friends that where around all year. Being able to study with friends from my class helped me a lot through college. I wouldn’t trade my time there at all.
This is one of the worst place to live. The facilities and maintenance are so poor, in spite of being the most expensive and once you are out of lease they will send you a bill with no explanation charging you $$$$. There are dozens of better places to live nearby. DO NOT LIVE IN THESE APARTMENTS.Don't be fooled by these people. Images on their website and the facts are just opposite. Find yourself a decent place with honest owners.
After 5 years I found myself having to leave during my MLA/Ph.D. in Edu. Leadership studies due to a medical issue and let me tell you... these folks are dazed and confused!! It is a GREAT place to live and I believe that I would not have a 3.75 GPA undergrad and a 4.0 year of advanced degree GPA studies if it were not for the environment of the UCA! Parent of a Freshman/Not a safe placeto live – As a parent of a freshman college student that moved into this apartment complex. I would not recommend having your child live here. Initially my husband and I toured and Andranell gave us the reassurance that our freshman would be in a "safe" and positive community due to the fact that there were RA's assigned to each building and that there is always someone (professional adult) other then college students availiable for the residents. avoid if at all possible!!! – I live in this apartments and it is a total ripoff. They never fix anything. The faucet on my sink is loose and comes off. i have a big hole in my kitchen floor where the tile is missing. There is mold in the vents, on the window sills and in my bathroom on the celings and the walls that they won't come clean up. The carpet is horrible dirty. They have people come clean it but it is so dirty that doesn't even help. They neeed to put new carpet down, but they won't They charge $432.00 for furnitu... read more
