Would not recommend joining if you are femaie and want to play tennis. Women's tennis is full of drama and if the captain doesn't like you or you aren't part of their click then they either won't let you on their USTA team or will play you in the worse spots no matter how good you are. They can also cut the number of team members off if they don't want you on the team and it doesn't matter if you are a member.
