The wait time to see the doctor is absolutely horrible and unacceptable. We got to the office 15 minutes before our 2PM appointment and we weren’t seen by the doctor until 3:10PM. Knowing that you’re going to have to dilate the child’s eye and that alone takes another 20 minutes, why would you have young children wait this unnecessary amount of time. Never made it into the office for my daughters appt. They booked her out a month. I specifically told them I am a self pay patient. A day before her appointment, they sent me a text message saying that it has to be canceled due to insurance reasons that they found my daughter enrolled in. Now, I never provided anything besides her name and DOB. Unbelievably intrusive and EXTREMELY rude. Especially Dr. Rousta. We missed my daughters appointment because my daughter was in the hospital for a week after surgery and then an emergency came up with my family so we couldn't get there. Mind you they have called me to reschedule my daughters appointment numerous times. She had the nerve to call me and say that it was "concerning" even though we had another appointment scheduled.
