Called for a quote and was told the entire process would take approximately 1 hr. My husband and I carved that amount of time out of our day and 2.5 hrs later the sales man was still there. At this point my husband had already missed a meeting and rescheduled said meeting. After a very lengthy, long winded, unnecessary pushy sales pitch we finally received a quote. Rep arrived on-site at my home and refused to discuss window options or pricing with me unless my wife was present. I don't quite understand that policy unless it's intended as a high-pressure sales technique to avoid the "I need to consult with my wife/husband before making any decisions" responses. If all the cards are on the table, they should be able to discuss options and pricing with myself or my wife independently, and give us an honest and up-front quote for us to compare and evaluate on our own time. After getting 4 quotes to do my window replacement job, I decided to go with Universal due to the fact that I trusted Jeff and Bill, and the price they quoted me was fair. I got new Sunroom windows and windows in my whole house. They were here for one day and another part of a day. Bill did some other work for me like drywall and installing a bathroom door.
