We ordered a dishwasher from Lowe's - this company was used for installation. They sent a man named Rob, who was awesome. He worked fast was super nice and got the job done. The only reason I took 1 star was because scheduling is all over the place, we had to take off work because we didn't get a time frame from the company until day of. Aside from that, it was a great service.
I purchased a toilet from Lowes with installation. Universal Plumbing was the company they sent. Soon as he got here he told me it would be an extra $25 to haul the old one away, even though it was part of the installation package I paid Lowe's for. I had to call the company to get them to tell him I didn't have to pay anything extra. Then once the new toilet was in, he told me it would be an extra $40 because he had to go back to Lowes for a longer hose. I will never use them again.
Tech arrived on time. Courteous, knowledgeable and efficient in performing needed drain being unplugged. Found stoppage to be further down the line than thought so he got on roof and snaked 75’ thru house to outside drain line. Cleared everything and very helpful. Have used Universal Plumbing and always met or exceeded needs. Recommend to anyone having plumbing problems.
My sister hired Universal Plumbing, and when they couldn't find ground access, they charged her $200 to go on the roof. She hired a different plumber who was able to locate ground access. The least Universal Plumbing should do is refund that $200. Very disappointing.
Pete and Vince what can I say about these two gentlemen? The job looked impossible, but I knew they could get it done. They did not disappoint. They rerouted our water pipes in our kitchen. Everything is running. Great universal plumbing company never disappoints.
