Tom as Universal was thorough and communicative. He walked me through everything he was doing and gave me all the info so I could make the decision that was best for me. He was patient as I took some time to weigh my options and did a walkthrough of the house to explain filters, efficiency and some other solutions that would help cool our house. He set me up with everything I need to make future servicing or replacement much easier. I would highly recommend.
Tom came out the same day when my AC stopped working and quickly diagnosed a failed capacitor. He explained the issue clearly, got the system running again, and answered my questions about the age of my HVAC system without any pressure. Professional, honest, great price, and easy to work with. I appreciated that he focused on fixing the problem instead of trying to sell me a new system. Highly recommend.
I couldn’t recommend Universal enough. I called in the morning - Tom offered a quick solution first that wouldn’t have even required him to come out. When that didn’t work, I called back and he was here within an hour and a half. Diagnosed the problem right away; fixed it with an efficient, cost-effective solution; taught me along the way about what he was doing & why and other things I could do to help my AC unit.
