I recently had the carburetor (Rochester 4GC) for my 1965 Oldsmobile Starfire rebuilt at Universal Carburetor. I had them take the carburetor off, rebuild it and then reinstall the carburetor. After a test drive I was able to pick the Starfire up. The price was what they originally quoted me. It should be noted that if you pay with a credit card they add a fee. Reached out to Nick at U/C to have them check out my “71” Charger R/T, that wasn’t running well at all, for quite some time. I dropped it off at 10am on Thursday and he called at 2 and said it was ready. Picked up my car on Friday morning and l couldn’t get over how well it was running. Rebuilt two different carburetors for my antique trucks. Quality work and incredibly fast service. Had my trucks up and running the next day. Highly recommended.
Price is okay and i’m sure it was just a mistake but the choke flap was not installed right leading it to not open & making the car run bad when hot after i got my carb rebuilt
