I was the referring physician for a patient. He went there and was treated for lymphoma. My patient was awake and talking on Sunday night, watching golf. The next day he died. Dr. Westin has never spoken to any of the family members nor spoken to me about what happened to the patient. The patients older daughter is having a break down and no one has made ANY attempt to give even the simplest explanation. I was promised by the hospital that the doctor would call me. BEWARE OF DR. WESTIN AND IF YOU ARE NOT A LOCAL PATIENT I brought my dad to MD Anderson for his appointments for 5 1/2 years. He had slow growing Non-Hodgkin’s Follicular Grade 1 Lymphoma and his doctor was Dr. Jason Westin. My dad was remarkably healthy the entire 5 1/2 years and he commuted between Florida and Houston.
