We saw Dr. Kamala in 2016 for my husband’s bladder cancer. We were thrilled with his care. Almost 9 years postop and cancer free.
I traveled 5 hours to see him because he is supposed to be a bladder cancer specialist.Unfortunately we didn’t see him much, because he depends on his PA and residents to do the job. It is impossible to communicate with him, all communication is with the PA. When you go to MD Anderson to get care you expect the best care possible. Our experience with Dr. Kamat was disappointing and we wait for appointment with him 3 to 4 months, to then find out we have to wait more for the surgery.
