On 12/12/2023 God save my life with Dr/ Amir Hands
I went to see him on August 29th, and within seconds of him opening the door he said I was "too young" to be seen for what I was referred for since "thoracic outlet syndrome is much too rare" and immediately redirected the conversation to hyperhydrosis he noticed (sweaty palms) - something not in my referral or medical chart. There was no examination, he didn't even ask to take my shirt off to see my affected area. Dr. Abolhoda and his team have been amazing. My husband had two surgeries due to having a hiatal hernia, and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor for my husband.
First, Dr. Abolhoda was recommended by one of the cardiac nurses, who is a friend. I can't speak more highly of Dr. Abolhoda and his staff. Having worked in the medical field for several years, I can say in contrast to many doctors I have known, he was forthright, didn't pull any punches and answered the questions I had pre-op, yet was very personable, had a great bedside manner and demonstrated a very kind and gentle demeanor.
