Best medical visit of my life! Everyone was so happy and friendly, from the receptionist who recognized me from the two times I had been there and was happy to see me, to the nurse and her trainee who promptly took me back to a room for my vitals and some prep, to the nurse practitioner who reviewed my progress and brought me some supplies that will help me on my cruise, to the nurse who bandaged my wound. I'm a caregiver for a gentleman that has a pressure ulcer that we have been dealing with since December at the wound center in bettendorf..... It didn't get any better ... Couple different things were tried to heal this up but it didn't really work.... We had an appointment at the wound center on a Monday blood work was done and an x-ray was done.... We were notified that the flammatory markers were high.... So we were referred to a wound infection specialist 3 days later on a Thursday but we had to wait until the following ... read more
