I only saw Jen twice and both times it seemed a good fit but things changed drastically when I was admitted to an inpatient psych unit. She suddenly dropped me like a hot potato. Worse yet she wouldn’t even talk to me to explain why. The therapist in the hospital told me it was because I wasn’t trying hard enough but she denies this. She told my sister I needed to go to group therapy but she would continue to see me individually. I struggled to find a group that took my insurance. Although I kept her informed of everything I... read more

I went to see this ARNP because I needed a form filled out. I presented this NP w/all the necessary information to sign off on my form, but she decided to dive right in to other issues. I'm not going to get into the entire story, but let's just say that she overstepped some boundaries. I didn't like her tone or disregard for people with mental health issues. I was happy to find that it was not just me that had issues with her. Had I seen the persons post above, I would have gone elsewhere to get my form filled out. I have no... read more

My daughter got herself hospitalized and the hospital gave her a choice to where she wanted to go. She chose Chatham oaks cause she liked it there which I did not like her being there but she was an adult and I had no say. She got into different drugs there and was not supervised there at all. She kept cutting herself but apparently that is ok. Chatham oaks sucks!! I don't wanna give them any stars

I agree with John C., C.O. is not an asylum, but is certainly is not a structured environment either. I have had the opportunity to know several residents of C.O. over the past year and have gone to visit many, many times. Not once have I signed in, ever. There's a symbolic sign-in book that is never enforced, anyone can walk right in (and out!) of the building. Although street drugs are prohibited, they run rampant with residents who continuously drop dirty UAs and spread like wildfire to whomever those residents can persua... read more

Carin Bejarno simply doesn't understand how clinical depression works. I'm aware her background isn't in mental health but any medical professional should know that telling a depressed person they "don't seem very down" is invalidating, triggering, and displays gross disregard for the patient's feelings and experiences. 0 stars forever.

If I could give this place half a start I would! What a dump. Went to the after hours clinic... woman working the front desk was very pleasant and courteous. Dr working tonight was a jerk and dismissive.

Chatham Oaks is not an asylum. Nobody is running around with a butterfly net. If you are not used to living in a structured environment C.O. may not be for you. There are 3 meals daily. The cooks make an honest attempt to make good food but rarely do. There are about a thousand rules and no rule book. If you like to smoke, you will be in your element, but always outside. They do your laundry. Apparently they feel you'll drink the detergent or something. Privacy.? There is no privacy. They have cameras inside and outside the b... read more
