Braids are horrible don’t go there
I went to get my hair braided for the first time on 125th Avenue and Madison. The African lady in the first booth tried to charge me $280 for cornrows and box braids, which is too expensive. After questioning her, she lowered the price to $180 but still seemed overpriced. She kept me there for nearly 3 hours trying to convince me to pay $200, but I decided to leave. I would give 0 stars if I could. I got goddess braids done here and I deeply regret it. It’s been two days since I got my hair done and two rows of braids have slipped out. They also charged me $250 and then charged another girl who got the same thing $160. I got overcharged for poor quality work. I should’ve known when another lady came in and threatened to take one of the women to court because her faux locs were coming out a few days after she got them done.
