Had a Stage 1 tune put in my Golf R. Accelerates better and improved gas mileage. But, frustratingly, it now makes very loud pop and bang backfire noises in Race and Special mode. So loud and annoying I can't use them. Shop who installed it for me said it can't be changed. Very frustrating. Wouldn't recommend for this reason.
Ok software and hardware at a high price. Support experience is abysmal for how much I've paid. I sent in a log to be reviewed over a year ago, never heard back. Called back a year later and was told they still see the datalog I submitted, but hasn't been reviewed. Had the support rep re-send it over a month ago, and still haven't heard back... You'd think you'd get more support when you're paying $2,000 plus for OTS tunes.
absolutely love my stage 2+ tune, only things i miss from my old tune from APR is being able to engage launch control with or without traction control on or dynamic mode, also not being able to see what gear i am in is a bummer. highly recommend sounds terrifying now
Ordered a cold air intake which you would think should be in stock. After two weeks of not getting an email to say that it has shipped I decided to call. Representive stated in was not in stock and would be shipped from their Canadian warehouse, in 4-6 weeks! When asked why would it take that long to ship she again stated it was not in stock. She could not comprehend on what I was explaining- once it was not in stock at the U.S. warehouse then I expected it to be shipped the day from their Canadian warehouse. So I’m waiting ... read more
