Just got a stage 1 ecu tune on my 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Black and man this car is absolutely amazing now its performance is amazing and with the new cold intake also it’s unbelievable! Thanks UNITRONIC…..
Went to get my ecu and tcu tune for my 2023 audi s3 and tcu is still locked. Very disappointing. At this day and age with so much technology advancement you would think that this would be achievable but its been about 3 years already and still no results. Or is this a way of tuners trying to sell the unlocked tcu mechatronic? Which will cost about $3500 installed and tuned. Smh. Ecu tune feels hella lot quicker just hope you guys can unlock the tcu before i have to purchase the new tcu bootloader
Would not recommend anyone to get a unitronic tune. Messed up my engine on my Golf Sportwagen 1.8T. EPC light keeps coming on, car goes into limp mode, no power to accelerate. This is extremely dangerous for the highway. I have lost confidence in my car being safe to drive. Go to a different brand instead.
I am extremely disappointed with this software. After installing the Unitronic Stage 2 tune, the car feels sluggish and unresponsive, with no brake boosting capability at all. Shifting is extremely slow, and for the price they charge, the lack of a TCU tune option is unacceptable. Overall, my IE Stage 1 tune performed significantly better than this Unitronic Stage 2 setup. Even worse, despite upgrading specifically to address this issue, I am still getting catalytic converter fault codes—which was the main reason I purchased... read more
