I had a positive experience with the mediation service; however, my experience with the Anchor program was deeply distressing and, in my view, fundamentally unacceptable. The counselling I received through this program was, in my opinion, profoundly inadequate and failed to meet even basic standards of care or professionalism. I found the counsellor’s approach to be dismissive, invalidating, and entirely lacking in appropriate therapeutic support, which left me feeling significantly unsupported and unsafe within the process.... read more

If you are going through the complicated separation that involves domestic violence and children, then it is a very good place to seek help. Ok, they cannot do magic and change the family law overnight (sadly!), however, this is a place to be heard and supported. They do take your concerns into account and help you and your children to navigate through challenging times and minimize the collateral damage to your health and wellbeing under the given circumstances.
