I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of the United Way Day of Caring the last few years. The great people who work for the United Way are some of the nicest most caring people I have got to know. They work hard all year long and really make a difference in the community. Thank you all for the great things you do.
When I worked many years ago, I donated through payroll deduction. Yesterday, I volunteered for the 1st time, and noticed how many companies were participating in the local drive. Today their Day of Caring is taking place. I plan to volunteer when I can. I also reconnected with a few others I knew from previous volunteer assignments.
Thankful to the United Way for all they do to make our community better.
