Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with Allied/Coleman Van Lines. The final cost of our move came in 3 times the original estimate! The packing of our household was done randomly - meaning linens were spread out in boxes for kitchen, bedrooms and even those marked basement. So EVERY box had to be unpacked to find all of our items. The packers ran out of boxes, so many of our clothes were stuffed into large garbage bags for transport! They were a mess! Amazing work ethic of all involved with our move. Heather initiated the move with multiple home visits to check on pack and loading. She is a valuable asset. Edgar, the driver and lead to all of the packing, performed an amazing job of coordinating his packers/loaders. We actually enjoyed working with the team.
I have moved 6 times this is the 7th. This is the worst moving company. They lied on every aspect of this move. It took over a week to get my stuff delivered.
The Moving Team from Allied Van Lines was super great!! Heather and Abby worked together in concert to make sure every step of the way was very well communicated and understood. Even the day of packing Heather was there to calm all my anxiety and make sure everything was going well. The team of Mr.Clayton, Reggie, Michael, and Tony worked in a very harmonious orchestrated flow being extremely careful and thorough in handling all the items.
