After my review on Google a week ago, I received a response from the company stating that their Member Care team has been notified about my experience. They provided a phone number, 732-530-8100 ext. 2530, and requested that I contact them so they can assist me further. Unfortunately, despite calling multiple times, I was unable to reach a representative. Each time I called, I was directed to a call back option, but no one ever returned my call. This credit union is terrible. Their commitment to the customer is non existent. There has been a money transferring issue since May of this year and now it is July and they have done nothing to correct the problem. My money is being held hostage and they show no interest in fixing the problem. I would not recommend them. I gave them one star but zero would have been more appropriate.
In 2015 I took out a car loan with United Teletech. I had been late here and there on payments but always caught up and paid more than my past due balance. At the end of 2016 I had a loss in the family and I had to unexpectedly pay for a funeral and fell behind again. I once again was paying more than my car note was knowing I was behind and even in some cases making double payments. My car recently got repossessed and I was at a loss of why. Hands down the worst bank i have ever done business with in my entire life. So far they have taken funds out of my 3rd party account (linked by debit card) without my permission twice and now they took out over $400 when the payment was $220. Ive had my vehicle "accidentally reposessed" (as they put it) i have waited weeks for responses from management as well as basic call backs about inquirries with my loans.
