It is a shame that the company doesn’t pay tribute to the founding family of the company in their website—the Simon Family, specifically Warner Simon. He started the company with his background in metallurgy after fleeing Germany during World War II, and the current owners took over through unscrupulous means without proper compensation to the Simon family.
