Mean Women The other reviews are consistent with my experiences as well. Most of the clerks are overtly rude, and seem like they bring their problems to their job. Maybe they are not suitable to work in such a busy location. I drive to other post offices when convenient and I avoid this place. It is kind of out of the way, anyhow. There is a sweet little Latino lady that works here from time to time, but the others seriously act like villains.
Fixing the lock on my neighborhood mail box The lock on my lockbox at the neighborhood mail center has stuck before but this time when I went to the humble post office to fill out a work ticket I was told it would cost $25 to repair and that I would have to provide proof of ownership - not just ID such as driverslicense, etc. My neighbor just across the street just had the same problem and it was repaired free and he only showed his drivers license. unprofessional clerks The clerks in this post office are inefficient, and extremely rude. when asked to speak to someone in charge, the wait was even longer and I left with no more information than what I went in with. I submitted a request for a key to a box at my apartment on December 22, 2008 and as of January 12, 2009 I still don't have a key. It is typically 45-55 minute wait in the line here with about 8 people in front of you. The supervisor here does not seem to be concerned about anything.
