This place is way out in the pines in a holler. Once you go down the hill you’ll have no phone service. Lady at guard shack was a sweetheart. I was in a dry van & had to wait about 2 hours for the door bcuz it was broke but if it wasn’t for that I would have been in & out.

So, I gave them 10 straps, 20 edge protectors, and 25 bungee cords. They only used 9 straps but didn't return that one strap with 2 edge protectors. I'm sure they didn't use all the bungee cords either. My issue with that is with Western Express they hardly want to replace our securement equipment and it makes us short on it. Though, W.E. will know that they'll still expect us to get loads without enough equipment. So, USG needs to stop keeping extra for themselves and return what they don't use. It's about 10 drivers here in the loaded lot waiting for preloaded trailers. I know 6 of us have been here for 8+ hours. I have no idea what the problem is. This is the first time this has happened to me here. I surely hope this is not the new norm for what is supposed to be drop and hook. There were about 12 preloaded trailers when I arrived, and there had only been about 5 loaded trailers brought to the lot in 8 hours.

Get your load and go. Paperwork and loads are ready before you get there if I'm not mistaken
