Unprofessional and Inexperienced Team – Would Not Recommend I had high hopes when I decided to go solar, but this company turned the experience into a frustrating and disappointing process. One Year! Absolutely ridiculous that our project, even though it was two parts, took this long. Mark Landgrebe, the owner/salesman, is quick to get you a quote and ask for his money up front, but slow to answer any questions you as the customer may have. And he doesn’t like it when you question him on any particular piece of the project, attempting to try and understand what you are paying for. In business, the most important trait should be communication. The owner, Mark Landgrebe, was not a good communicator during our project. He would text or talk until the project was started and he had his/our money. Then it went days/weeks at a time between communication and always us initialing it. His favorite reply to a text was "sorry can't talk now". This is NOT the company to get the job done. Find another company, there are many out there that will actually respect you as a customer. To anyone considering using United Solar LLC, I would encourage you to search “United Solar LLC” and “Mark Landgrebe” (the owner) on the free website “trellis.law”. There are multiple past and ongoing court cases involving breach of contract by this company. • When the quote and solar production estimate was generated, the company claimed I could receive a 10% tax credit because the panels they were installing were Made in the USA. What a great team United Solar has. From the first point of contact with Nick to the close out with Ackie, these guys were pros. They made a complicated process so easy for me and my family. The panels went up in one day. The conduit, panels and mechanics were laid out well. They handled all the permits and contact with the building department and utilities company. I really appreciated the updates and follow up from the job manager Nick. He made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend United Solar.
