Booked a mini excavator rental a few weeks in advance, but 5 days prior to scheduled drop-off I was called and informed that the previous renter(s) had been allowed to extend their rental period. Because of this, United wouldn't be able to provide me the unit I booked. This doesn't really seem like how rentals should work. I was then offered a larger unit at the same price as the smaller one I had arranged for, which seemed fair, but quickly got a second phone call apologizing - that unit had been sold. The Office Help is outstanding to deal with. They have a large inventory and the equipment is in great shape. I highly recommend United Rentals.
