United Rental failed to deliver a 12" chipper despite my reservation several weeks in advance. 2 days before the delivery date for my project I was told there was no chipper available unless I paid more than $700 additional to have one moved from one rental yard to the one closer to me. Renter beware. The company holds you financially liable for their equipment if they don't pick It up when they're supposed to. On top of that, they don't even tell you that they're not picking it up. I guess that's a good way to force the renter to buy additional protection insurance. I hope that this company will change this policy because it's just bad business.
