This is for corporate…not a review of the employees or service at Show Low United Rentals. I went in there today to rent a small, 36” wide skid steer. I live a great distance away on back roads and inquired about picking the skid steer up with my own trailer. I was told I would have to have a 3/4 ton or bigger truck in order to pick up the skid steer. I understand the concern about size but the skid steer only weighs 3000 pounds. Had an opening for a heavy equipment mechanic. Their recruiter called me. Did the necessary paperwork, went out of my way to go to the interview, They weren't even courteous enough to inform me that they were going to seek other candidates, that for whatever reason They weren't going to hire me. These guys in management at the showlow Store are garbage. I wouldn't want to work for them and from my experience with them i would advise you to look elsewhere for a job. Rented a skid steer from this company a while back. Had a slight snafu upon pick up after a lot of rain, but they did right by the customer. That made all the difference. I would highly recommend this rental company.
