I’ve been a patient of Dr. Athari now for 2 ½ year's or more for neuropathy, spastic muscle paralysis and epilepsy. I was in physical rehabilitation center to learn to walk again when I was referred to him while still unable to even walk or feel my legs from mid-thigh down. My wife was referred to this office and it was terrible. The Doctor has no bedside manners at all. The office was disgusting, not just outdated but also dirty. Then the Doctor told us after our insurance pays and we get a huge bill don’t freak out call him and he will give us discount. I have never heard a physician tell us that ever. We got up and left before anything was done. Stay away!

If I could leave a review with zero stars I would. Two weeks ago, my 85 year old father had his first appointment with Dr. Athari at United Neurology. Neither my father or I walked away with a great feeling, but decided to try and keep an open mind because his vertigo is debilitating. First, let me say that the younger doctor (whose name I have forgotten) who functions under Dr. Athari is very good, thorough and respectful.
