My car failed inspection due to a cracked joint in the exhaust pipe. The inspection station recommended United Muffler and Im glad they did. Scheduled an appointment. Took 15 minutes from the time I walked in the door until I was driving away. Rob welded it up and it only cost me \$20 instead of hundreds for replacing it. Great job!

My husband and I always take our cars here for repairs. Over the years, theyve done very good work for us. Aside from a few minor problems (which any repair shop will have), I have been happy with their work and drive from Blacksburg to C-burg to go to them.
I have had ups and downs here! If you are having a sticker or something small then "Yes" go here! If you are wanting to have something major done or if you are trying to figure out what is wrong with your vehicle then "No"!! I paid \$170.00 and they did nothing to "fix" my vehicle just look at it and told me the same thing I already knew and infomed them of from the get go. United Muffler took advantage of me. They sold me two front tires for my vehicle that were smaller than the tires they removed. (they didnt have the proper size tires in stock s they sold me the incorrect size to save a sale)The owner of the shop didnt even know how to properly rotate the tires on my vehicle. I had to show him in the manual.I would not recommend United Muffler.
Had my exhaust redone 3 times there, and each time, the service and the attitude of the people were SPECTACULAR! The prices were reasonable for a custom exhaust, and I must say, I truly enjoyed and felt confident to have them work on my car. Will I go back? Yes I would! This is one of the few shops in the area that actually does custom work.
