My grandparents were both houma indians always been proud of my heritage Paul T. Billiot and Rose Billiot were my grandparents and Dorothy Billiot Barnes is my mother.
When I started our Family Tree back in 2000 I had no real clue just where it would lead me, mom said we were native American, I'm glad we found Our roots, from both mom & our Dad's side we are United Houma Nation Indians, yes I have my roll number as do my kids & grandkids, love our tribe , Merry Christmas :)
My grandpa is a Houma Indian. His name was Constant Jaque Courteaux. I am proud of my heritage.
