We kept getting ash smell even with the flue open. Daniel cleaned the liner and showed me what buildup looks like, which was gross but helpful. House smells normal again.
Bird noise in the chimney at 6am was not it. Alex waited to test after putting the cap back on, just to make sure nothing was rattling. United Home Services handled it quicker than expected.

Had a weird burnt smell from the fireplace so we called for chimney inspection + damper replacement repair. Josh P checked the whole flue, cleaned out the soot, and swapped the old damper that was stuck. He was friendly and explained everything in normal people language!!💜
